"Weathering" Play
Karamu House is currently running “Weathering” a play by Harrison Davis Rivers, now through March 30th. After experiencing a profound loss, a grieving mother is held close by her community. This drama centers issues of birth trauma amongst Black women and the different ways we can support those experiencing grief.

"Who the Hell is Regina Jones" Film Showing
Through the Watts Rebellion and the birth of SOUL, “Who the Hell is Regina Jones” is a YWCA feature film at CIFF49 that tells the story of the trailblazing founder of Soul Newspaper, who carved her own path in the music journalism world. Don’t miss this must-see documentary!

Cleveland International Film Festival
We are thrilled to be a Community Partner for the 49th Cleveland International Film Festival (CIFF49).
CIFF brings some of the most powerful and unique films from around the world to Cleveland. This year’s festival promises a lineup of over 300 films, showing at Playhouse Square from March 27th through April 13th.

Women of Achievement Awards Ceremony
Each year the YWCA Woman of Achievement Award is presented to a select group of Northeast Ohio women who have achieved extraordinary accomplishments through career success, community service, leadership, and mentoring. Boasting over 250 honorees, the Women of Achievement Academy is comprised of the most accomplished and esteemed leaders in Northeast Ohio.
