The YWCA Racial Justice Challenge is returning for its 6th year in Spring 2025 with all new topics and materials. This transformative, 28-day journey is a unique opportunity to deepen your understanding of systemic racism and explore actionable steps toward justice.

The Resistance Fair is a gathering of groups working every day to bring our values to life—protecting targeted communities, our environment, and our democracy. As we look toward the next four years of attacks on all we hold sacred and meaningful, now is the time to unify, organize, and act.

The Crown Continues: The Art and Care of Natural Hair
In partnership with Cleveland Public Library.
Event Purpose: This engaging program aims to celebrate and promote dialogue around natural hair by highlighting its beauty, diversity, and profound cultural significance. Through a combination of keynote speeches, a panel discussion, and vendor participation, the event will explore the historical, social, and practical aspects of natural hair care and its impact on identity and culture.
Keynote Address:
Virtually - George E. Johnson - Founder of Johnson Products Company which created products, including Ultra Sheen and Afro Sheen.

In an engaging keynote speaker address, George E. Johnson, the acclaimed author of Afro Sheen: How I Revolutionized an Industry with the Golden Rule, from Soul Train to Wall Street, will join forces with the talented writer Hilary Beard. Together, they will delve into the intricate writing process and their collaborative efforts behind the creation of their new book and the legacy of Mr. Johnson.
